Pulsion Technology is recruiting for a Software Engineer. We work on a diverse range of projects across both the Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure platforms utilising microservices and serverless architectures as well as relational database system. For this position within the development team we are looking for a range of technical skills, including React, JavaScript, .Net, Python, PHP and SQL Server to work on our product portfolio and various projects going forward. You will preferably have 1+ years’ development experience using Agile techniques but we will consider candidates with less if you are exceptional with a good Computer Science or Software Engineering related degree.
We currently offer a hybrid working model with 2 days at our Glasgow office and 3 days at home. You will be developing our products as well as solutions for our extensive customer base throughout the project lifecycle. Our skillsets extend from web, cloud and mobile through to business and artificial intelligence. Many of our projects touch all of these technologies so this is a good opportunity to advance your career into some cutting-edge technology.

Applicant Requirements
Essential skills and proven expertise in the following:
- Degree level qualified in a computer science/ software development discipline or STEM related subject
- 1+ year’s development experience in any of Azure or AWS, React, .Net, Python, PHP, JavaScript/Typescript and microservices
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills
- AWS/Azure experience
- Experience of languages such as Python would be an advantage
- Working in an Agile environment
- Source Control – GIT / SVN/Azure DevOps
- REST APIs
- AI experience
