Our Management team
John McGuire Founder Pulsion Technology
John is responsible for strategy and innovation within Pulsion Technology.
John has a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Microprocess Systems from the University of Strathclyde and over 30 year experience in software development in the areas of embedded, desktop, web, mobile and artificial intelligence systems. Prior to starting Pulsion, John worked in BT’s Research & Development division within their Software Engineering Centre.
During his time at Pulsion he has been involved in large system development for companies such as Barclays Stockbrokers (the Price Improver system), Claims Direct (complete digital transformation of their business IT) and WeeWorld (a global social network which he co-founded).
He has also been involved in the development of products around mobile, with Pulsion, having developed a mobile data collection product (Konformance) and a quotation app for tradesmen (Quilder).
John’s current interest is in artificial intelligence and he is involved in building this technology into new products.
Lorraine McGuire Head of Finance
Lorraine McGuire is a Director of Pulsion and holds the position of Head of Finance. She is responsible for all financial aspects of the organisation including our US office, and day to day management of the Glasgow based accounts team. Lorraine has held this role since the company was formed in 1996.
Previous to Pulsion, Lorraine held a number of positions within finance, retail, public relations and enterprise agencies and has considerable experience in office, finance and team management.
Lorraine is a keen runner and a member of her local running club. An avid competitor of the Glasgow Women’s 10k, Lorraine has raised considerable sums of money for charity including Bobath and the Pink Ribbon.
Krystofer Kujawa Head of Technical Services
As Head of Technical Services for Pulsion Technology, Krys oversees core areas of the business necessary for the smooth running of all aspects of the company, including Technical Services, Quality Assurance, Technical Support, Human Resources and Finance.
Since joining Pulsion in 2004 after earning a BSc Honours in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow, Krys has been involved in all aspects of software development from pre-sales and business analysis through system design and development to testing and release. He is a Prince2 Practitioner and holds a wide range of Microsoft Certifications including Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert in Business Intelligence.
In addition to his experience in systems administration as well as software development, Krys has been heavily involved in Pulsion’s ISO 9001 quality management system since certification in 2006, and was pivotal in integrating ISO 27001 into that management system for certification against the standard in 2016.
Through a commitment to owning and managing Pulsion’s quality and information security management system, Krys works with other senior management to ensure the business has a continued focus on risk-based management and continual improvement. This focus on standards ensures that our service development and implementation is constantly delivered at an optimum level.
Linda Anderson Marketing Manager
As Marketing Manager for Pulsion Technology, Linda is responsible for all aspects of online and offline marketing, branding, customer satisfaction and corporate social responsibility. Linda works closely with Pulsion’s Founder John McGuire and CEO Graeme Wilson to ensure that all marketing activity is in-line with Pulsion’s business plans and objectives.
Linda’s career started in B2B sales within the Scottish IT & Telecoms industry including Cable & Wireless and Virgin Media and previous to Pulsion, was the Marketing Manager for Oracle consultancy, Rocela. She has a CAM Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Home Learning College.
Linda has been involved in a diverse range of sales and marketing projects over her career including several website projects, various rebranding exercises as a result of change in business strategy or acquisition and numerous fund raising activities including Coast-2-Coast 170 mile 3-day cycle and Byte Night.
