Pulsion Technology is currently recruiting a Finance / Office Assistant on a part-time basis for our office in Glasgow city centre with a start date of January 2020. We are a busy, successful software development company who develop bespoke apps and applications for a range of clients across public, private and third sector organisations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention for detail, good organisation skills with an enthusiastic approach to work and a willingness to learn.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting tasks including preparation of invoices, supplier payments, expense claims
  • Creating financial reports and other ad-hoc bookkeeping tasks
  • Credit Control – identifying overdue invoices and chasing late payments
  • Telephone and reception duties
  • Managing and ordering office supplies, arranging meetings, filing, aid in the preparation of letters and other documents
  • Banking – managing bank payments and reconciling accounts
  • Other ad-hoc office duties

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Good communication skills and excellent telephone manner
  • A willingness to learn
  • Takes initiative
  • Works well as part of a team but also uses own initiative
  • IT skills – good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
