Business Development Consultant

Pulsion Technology is recruiting for an experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team. We are an innovative and successful software development company, who deliver solutions to a range of public, private and third sector organisations across the world. We are an AWS Consulting Partner, Microsoft Gold Partner and ISO9001/27001 certified.

This role will initially be based remote working from home followed by a combination of remote working and from our office in Glasgow when current restrictions allow. You will play a key role within the sales and marketing teams to drive lead generation for the company.

We pride ourselves in the quality of our people and the projects we deliver. The successful candidate will have an interest in all things tech and a good work ethic as well as the ability to take initiative, manage workload, and multiple client projects.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will come from a B2B environment and will have a passion developing new opportunities from leads into business growth using your strong influencing and networking skills.

In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:

  • Previous sales experience where you have managed your own portfolio of customer accounts, identifying and developing new business to business sales opportunities.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales, customer retention and engagement call targets.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build good relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • A mature approach to intelligent consultative selling and upselling, managing your pipeline accurately helping to secure new business.
  • Generate new business opportunities via phone, social, email, networking
  • Understand prospect requirements and work with project management team on project timescale and cost estimations
  • Create proposals and presentations for clients

Experience

  • 2 years + B2B Sales experience is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Cold calling and New Business Generation
